Summary
This study looks at whether women from different backgrounds have the same access to ambulance services during pregnancy, birth, and after having a baby. Researchers will analyze data from 18,000 women in Manchester, UK, comparing those who arrived by ambulance with those who did not. They will also review paramedic notes to understand care experiences. The goal is to find and fix barriers to emergency maternity care.
