Video game breakthrough could help older kids beat 'Lazy Eye'

NCT ID NCT07281742

Summary

This study is testing whether watching videos at home with special glasses can improve vision in children aged 8-12 with amblyopia (lazy eye). The Curesight™ system uses eye-tracking technology to blur parts of the screen for the stronger eye, encouraging the brain to use the weaker eye. Researchers want to see if this approach works for older children who often don't benefit from traditional treatments like eye patches.
