Scientists search for early Alzheimer's clues during routine surgery
NCT ID NCT05991830
Summary
This study aimed to understand early Alzheimer's disease by examining two potential warning signs in older adults. Researchers measured inflammation markers in blood and brain activity patterns during surgery in 20 participants over 60. The goal was to see if these two factors are connected, which could help identify Alzheimer's risk earlier.
