New nasal spray trial targets Alzheimer's with stem cell particles
NCT ID NCT07457125
Summary
This early-stage study is testing the safety and initial effects of a nasal spray containing tiny particles (exosomes) from umbilical cord stem cells in people with mild to moderate Alzheimer's disease. The spray is given twice a week for 12 weeks. The study will first test increasing doses in a small group, then compare the spray to a placebo in a larger group to see if it helps with memory and thinking skills.
