Two-Year brain drug trial seeks to slow Alzheimer's decline

Summary
This study is testing the long-term safety and effectiveness of the drug ALZ-801 in people with early Alzheimer's disease who have a specific genetic makeup (APOE4/4). It follows 163 participants for two years to see if the drug can help slow the decline in memory and thinking skills and reduce brain shrinkage. The study also tracks side effects and measures changes in brain scans and blood markers related to Alzheimer's.
