First seen Nov 18, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study looks at how often problems happen when doctors use a special lung-opening technique in children with severe breathing problems who are on a ventilator. The procedure is already used in intensive care, but the goal is to learn more about its safety. About 143 children under 14 will be watched for complications like low blood pressure or lung injury within 4 hours of the procedure.
