Mountain moms face higher headache risk after C-Sections?

NCT ID NCT05804448

Summary

This study aims to find out if women who live at high altitudes get more or worse headaches after spinal anesthesia for a cesarean section (C-section) compared to women living at low altitudes. Researchers will observe 292 women in Nepal, some from a high mountain area and some from a lowland city. The goal is to gather knowledge to help doctors better understand and potentially prevent this painful side effect.
