Could skipping days make iron pills easier for kids?

NCT ID NCT07391371

Summary

This study aims to find out if giving children iron supplements every other day works as well as giving them daily to treat iron deficiency anemia. Researchers will compare the two schedules over 12 weeks to see which one better improves blood health, causes fewer stomach side effects, and is easier for families to stick to. The goal is to identify the most effective and tolerable treatment plan for kids.
