NCT ID NCT07207616

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study checked how well Spanish nurses understand advanced life support (ALS) and tested a training program to fill knowledge gaps. First, 888 nurses from across Spain took a quiz; over 72% scored below the passing mark. Then, 38 nurses in the Valencian Community completed an online course plus a hands-on workshop, which significantly boosted their ALS knowledge. The findings show that many nurses need more training to be ready for cardiac emergencies.
