Targeted alpha rays take aim at Hard-to-Treat tumors

Summary
This study tests a new treatment called [212Pb]VMT-α-NET for people with advanced neuroendocrine tumors that have spread or cannot be removed by surgery. The therapy uses a radioactive particle to target and destroy tumor cells. About 260 adults whose tumors have gotten worse in the past year will receive the treatment to see if it is safe and shrinks tumors.
