First seen May 10, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests whether adding a daily dose of alpha lipoic acid (an antioxidant supplement) to standard chemotherapy can help people with advanced non-small cell lung cancer (stage III or IV). The goal is to see if it improves tumor response, slows disease progression, and extends survival while reducing side effects. About 60 adults who cannot have surgery and are starting platinum-based chemo will take part.
