First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study aimed to monitor side effects, especially high blood sugar, in people with a certain type of advanced breast cancer (HR+, HER2-, with a PIK3CA mutation) taking alpelisib plus fulvestrant. It was designed for postmenopausal women and men whose cancer had worsened after hormone therapy alone. However, the study was terminated early and only enrolled 4 participants, so it provides very limited information.
