New drug combo shows promise for Hard-to-Treat uterine cancer

Summary
This study tests a combination of two drugs, alpelisib and fulvestrant, in people with a specific type of advanced uterine cancer (endometrioid endometrial cancer) that has a PIK3CA gene mutation. The goal is to see if the treatment can shrink or control the cancer. About 51 participants will receive the drugs until the cancer worsens or side effects become too severe.
