Sweetener showdown: does allulose burn more calories?
NCT ID NCT07231133
Summary
This small study aimed to understand how a newer sweetener called allulose compares to common ones like sucralose and stevia. Researchers measured how the body burns calories, uses fuel, and controls blood sugar and appetite after a meal containing these sweeteners. Healthy, normal-weight adults participated by consuming test meals on separate days while their body's responses were carefully monitored.
