First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 10, 2026 · Updated 34 times
Summary
This study tests whether adding the drug venetoclax to a specific chemotherapy regimen before a donor stem cell transplant can help people with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) or myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) live longer without their cancer returning. About 116 adults aged 18 to 70 with these blood cancers, either in remission or with persistent disease, will receive the treatment. The goal is to see if this approach improves disease-free survival compared to standard methods.
