New knee shot could ease arthritis pain without surgery

Summary
This study tests an experimental drug called Allocetra, given as a shot into the knee, for people aged 64 and older with moderate-to-severe knee osteoarthritis. The goal is to see if it reduces pain and improves knee function better than a placebo. About 270 participants will be followed for 6 months to check safety and effectiveness.
