Scientists pinpoint skin reaction strength for common grass allergies
NCT ID NCT06957496
Summary
This study aimed to measure how strongly two common grass pollen extracts cause a skin reaction in people with allergies, compared to a standard histamine solution. Thirty-one adults with confirmed grass pollen allergies participated in a single visit where they received small skin prick tests with different concentrations of the extracts. The goal was to gather data to help standardize these allergy extracts for future testing and potential treatment development.
