New allergy drop trial aims to tame dust mite misery

Summary
This study is testing whether a liquid allergy treatment placed under the tongue (MM09) can reduce symptoms and the need for rescue medications in people allergic to house dust mites. The treatment is being compared to a placebo over 12 months in 736 participants aged 12-65 who have allergic rhinitis or conjunctivitis, with or without mild asthma. The goal is to see if this immunotherapy can provide better long-term control of allergy symptoms.
