First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study is testing whether a computer algorithm can accurately detect heart murmurs that point to structural heart disease using recordings from electronic stethoscopes. About 125 adults with known heart disease will have their heart sounds recorded and compared to standard echocardiogram results. The goal is to improve early detection of serious heart conditions without invasive tests.
