First seen Mar 13, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This early-stage study tests whether ALD-102, a drug injected into the scalp, is safe and can help regrow hair in people with alopecia areata. About 24 adults with patchy hair loss will receive the drug, a placebo (saline), or no treatment on different scalp areas. The main goal is to check for side effects, while also seeing if treated spots grow more hair.
