First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study looked at whether showing health warning messages in a mobile app where people buy alcohol affects how much they purchase. Over 11,000 Swedish adults used the Systembolaget app and were randomly assigned to see either health warnings or standard messages. The goal was to see if the warnings changed buying habits, knowledge, and attitudes about alcohol risks.
