Summary

This study tested whether a medication called GET73 could reduce alcohol drinking and change brain activity in people with alcohol use disorder. Participants took either GET73 or a placebo for 8 days while researchers measured their drinking behavior and used MRI scans to see brain changes. The goal was to see if this medication could help control problematic drinking patterns.
