NCT ID NCT05070793

Summary

This study aims to create and test a new talk therapy designed specifically for transgender and nonbinary people struggling with alcohol use disorder. Researchers will adapt an existing therapy to better address the unique life stresses and relationship challenges this group faces, which can contribute to heavy drinking. The goal is to see if this culturally-tailored approach is practical and acceptable to participants, while also exploring if it helps reduce drinking and improve social support.
