NCT ID NCT04776278
Summary
This study is testing two different short counseling programs designed to help young adults who are not in college reduce their heavy alcohol use. The programs focus on teaching stress management skills and helping participants find enjoyable, alcohol-free activities to replace drinking. Researchers are comparing these approaches to a basic education session to see which is most effective for 525 participants over a year.
