Summary

This study aims to understand the long-term journey of recovery from alcohol use disorder by following 733 adults for up to 12 years. Researchers will track how people's brain function, life satisfaction, social relationships, and career engagement change over time, and what factors might lead to relapse. The goal is to gather scientific knowledge that could help design better future support programs, not to test a specific treatment.
