New brief therapy aims to help women veterans cut back on drinking

Summary
This study is for women veterans who drink too much and want help. Researchers are testing a short, new behavioral treatment that can be done during regular primary care visits. The goal is to see if the treatment is practical, liked by patients, and helps reduce alcohol use and improve quality of life. About 70 women will take part and be followed for 6 months.
