Wrist sensors aim to curb binge drinking on campus

NCT ID NCT07307326

Summary

This study is testing whether adding real-time alcohol monitoring from a wrist-worn sensor to an existing feedback program can help reduce high-risk drinking in college students. About 150 students aged 18-23 who report heavy drinking will be asked to wear the sensor for two weeks. Researchers will check if this combined approach is practical and if it leads to safer drinking habits six months later.
