Summary
This completed Phase 2 trial tested whether the experimental drug ALC-2203 can reduce symptoms of acute bronchitis, like cough and chest pain. 169 adults with moderate to severe symptoms took either ALC-2203, an active comparator, or a placebo for 7 days. Researchers measured changes in a symptom score to see if the drug works better than placebo.
