First seen May 08, 2026 ยท Last updated May 08, 2026

Summary

This study tested whether giving albumin and furosemide together can prevent severe ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS) in women at high risk during IVF. OHSS can cause painful swelling and sometimes require hospital care. The trial involved 200 women and compared the drug combination to standard care to see if it lowers the chance of developing this condition.
