Summary

This study is testing whether giving the immunotherapy drug AK104 as a simple injection under the skin works as well as giving it through an IV when combined with standard chemotherapy for advanced stomach cancer. The trial will enroll 422 people with advanced stomach or gastroesophageal cancer who haven't had prior treatment for their advanced disease. Researchers want to see if the injection method controls cancer growth as effectively as the IV method while being more convenient for patients.
