New Light-Activated cream could zap precancerous skin spots

Summary
This study tests a reformulated cream (Levulan Kerastick) combined with special light therapy to treat actinic keratosis, a common precancerous skin condition. About 160 adults with 4-8 mild to moderate spots on their face or bald scalp will receive up to two treatments. The main goal is to see if the spots completely clear up after 12 weeks, while also checking for side effects.
