First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jul 01, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study looks at whether using ultrasound on the neck can help predict if placing a breathing tube during surgery will be difficult. About 140 adults having planned surgery will get both standard checks and an ultrasound before anesthesia. The goal is to see if ultrasound adds useful information to make intubation safer.
