Study tests which airway tool is best for obese patients
NCT ID NCT06973434
Summary
This study looked at which of three different airway scopes works best for placing a breathing tube in obese patients during surgery. Researchers compared two newer video scopes with a traditional scope to see which made the procedure easier, caused less stress on the heart, and led to fewer side effects like a sore throat. The goal was to gather information to help doctors choose the safest tool for this patient group.
