Paramedics race against time in simulated car crash to find best airway tool
NCT ID NCT06609499
Summary
This study tested which of two flexible medical guides helps paramedics place a breathing tube faster and more easily in a simulated emergency. Experienced paramedics practiced on a manikin trapped in a car on its side, mimicking a real crash with limited patient access. Researchers measured how long it took to successfully place the tube and which tool paramedics found easier to use.
