Scientists probe Brain's response to airflow in sedated patients

NCT ID NCT07468266

Summary

This study aims to understand if a gentle flow of air to the nose affects brain activity in sedated adults who are on a breathing machine after planned surgery. Researchers will measure brainwaves using an EEG headset while testing different airflow settings. The goal is to gather basic knowledge about how the brain responds to this sensation while under sedation.
