Your phone vs your spine: AI takes on teen scoliosis
NCT ID NCT07341633
Summary
This study is testing whether a new smartphone app that uses artificial intelligence (AI) to guide exercises at home works better than the standard in-person physical therapy for teens with mild to moderate scoliosis. It will involve 300 adolescents and compare how well each method controls the curve in their spine over six months. The main goal is to see if the AI system, which personalizes exercises and checks progress remotely, leads to better results and higher exercise completion rates.
