This study compares an AI-powered virtual agent to a human teacher for improving mental health literacy in teens. About 360 students aged 11-18 in Shanghai will take 6 weekly sessions with either the AI or a teacher. Researchers will measure changes in mental health knowledge, attitudes, and well-being to see if the digital approach works just as well.
