Can a chatbot outsmart your Hospital's drug safety system?
NCT ID NCT07314125
Summary
This study tested whether an AI chatbot (ChatGPT-4) could be better than a standard hospital computer system at finding dangerous drug combinations in intensive care patients. Researchers looked back at the medication records of 101 ICU patients to see which tool was more accurate. The goal was to see if AI could help make medication use safer for very sick patients.
