Smart toothbrush trial tests AI's power to fight gum disease

NCT ID NCT07308522

Summary

This study aims to see if a new AI-guided electric toothbrush helps control early gum disease (gingivitis) better than a standard electric or manual toothbrush. Over 6 weeks, 33 adults with gingivitis will use one of the three brush types. Researchers will measure plaque, gum bleeding, and the presence of a healthy mouth bacteria to compare results.
