AI takes on jaw cysts: sharper scans, smarter surgery?
NCT ID NCT07505485
First seen Apr 07, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study compares the usual way doctors look at jaw cysts on 3D scans (CBCT) with a new AI tool that automatically measures the cyst's size and shape. Ten adults with jaw cysts will have their scans analyzed both ways. The goal is to see if the AI method saves time and gives more accurate measurements, which could help surgeons plan better and reduce complications.
