AI outperforms google for home health questions, study finds
NCT ID NCT07250516
Summary
This study tested whether AI chatbots help people make better self-diagnosis and care decisions than regular search engines. Over 6,300 Chinese adults read realistic health scenarios and used either an AI chatbot or search engine to figure out what might be wrong and what care they needed. Researchers compared how accurate both groups were at identifying illnesses and choosing appropriate care levels.
