AI challenges radiologists in massive brain scan diagnosis trial

NCT ID NCT07167043

Summary

This study aims to see if an artificial intelligence (AI) tool can match or help radiologists diagnose neurological diseases from brain CT and MRI scans. It will compare the accuracy and efficiency of diagnoses made by over 50 radiologists working with and without the AI's assistance. The goal is to validate if this 'reasoning-enhanced' AI can be a reliable partner in the clinical workflow, potentially reducing errors and improving report quality.
