AI steps into the Dentist's office: can computers plan your implant?
NCT ID NCT07459036
Summary
This study tests whether an artificial intelligence (AI) tool can help dentists plan immediate dental implants as well as a human radiologist can. After a back tooth is pulled, 80 patients will be randomly assigned to have their 3D scan analyzed either by the AI or by a radiologist. The main goal is to see if both methods lead to the same success rate for placing a stable implant right away.
