AI steps into the Dentist's office: can it build a better fitting bridge?
NCT ID NCT07315620
Summary
This study aims to find the best digital method for creating well-fitting, permanent dental implant bridges for people missing all teeth in an arch. Researchers will compare three computer-based design methods—one fully automated by AI, one manually guided, and one using a physical guide—to see which produces the most precise fit. Thirty adult patients receiving new implant bridges will have their fit carefully checked at placement to determine which method is most accurate.
