Can a chatbot outthink your physical therapist? new study pits AI against human experts for pain relief
NCT ID NCT07342790
Summary
This study aims to see if using artificial intelligence (AI) can help physical therapists make better decisions for patients with chronic muscle pain. Researchers will compare treatment plans created by an AI tool (ChatGPT) with those made by therapists using traditional methods. They will measure which approach better reduces pain, improves movement and strength, and is more cost-effective for 70 adult patients.
