Summary

This study tested whether artificial intelligence (AI) can create multiple-choice exam questions for first-year medical students as well as humans can. 258 students took a mock exam with either AI-generated or human-written questions. Researchers compared test scores and question quality to see if AI is a viable option for creating assessments.
