Summary
This study tested whether artificial intelligence (AI) can create multiple-choice exam questions for medical students as well as humans can. Over 250 first-year medical students took a mock exam with either AI-generated or human-written questions. Researchers compared test scores, question quality, and student opinions to see if AI could be a useful tool in medical education.
