Summary
This study compares two AI models, Gemini 2.5 Pro and ChatGPT-5.1, against expert anesthesiologists in interpreting ultrasound videos of a pain-block procedure called TAP block. Forty adults having surgery will have their routine TAP block recorded, and the AI will analyze the videos to identify anatomy and assess success. No extra procedures are needed for participants. The goal is to see if AI can reliably support clinicians in ultrasound-guided anesthesia.
