Robot vs. radiologist: AI steps into the ER to read your X-Rays

NCT ID NCT07329881

Summary

This study is testing whether a computer program (an AI algorithm) can be as good as human doctors at finding broken bones on X-rays. Researchers will compare the AI's readings against those of emergency room doctors and specialists on 500 past trauma X-rays. The goal is to see if this technology could one day help doctors diagnose fractures faster and more accurately.
