Summary
This study is testing whether an AI system (ChatGPT-5) can match anesthesiologists at assessing patient health risks before surgery. Researchers will compare the risk classifications and lab test recommendations made by both the AI and doctors for 703 adults having elective surgery. The goal is to see if AI could help make pre-surgery evaluations more consistent and standardized.
