First seen Nov 16, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study is testing whether ChatGPT, an artificial intelligence tool, can correctly identify abnormal cells on biopsy samples taken during an endoscopic ultrasound. Researchers will compare the AI's readings to those of expert pathologists. The goal is to see if AI can help speed up diagnosis for people with suspicious growths in the digestive tract. About 200 adults with solid masses in the GI tract will take part.
